Can’t really think of a witty title for my first blog post.  This isn’t my first blog but I can’t get into my old one so I decided to just start fresh.

So…married, two kids, homeschooler, humanist,  atheist, anti-theist, Jewish (secular), stuck in the jock strap of the Bible Belt, and  Those are the basics.

This isn’t going to be a mommy blog where I tell cute stories about my kids.  I love them but they’re pretty much only interesting to my husband and myself and maybe their uncle.  What I want to write about is what’s interesting to me and bigger than my family.   So…civil rights, racism, why there aren’t more women in the atheist movement, wealth inequality…you know, light topics!

Disagreements are welcome.  However, you must bring data/evidence/information to support your position.  Simply having a bad case of the feels is NOT going to cut it.
